The 34,000-square-foot center will offer an immersive experience into the 47-month cadet journey and the Academy experience, highlighting the legacy of the Long Blue Line and the importance of selfless service.
Inside, themed galleries feature interactive exhibits designed to engage visitors of all ages. Guests can explore the meaning behind a class crest, reflect while listening to Air Force and Space Force core values, watch dynamic video presentations on oversized screens, and discover career opportunities through the Polaris Star interactive display.
In the 108-foot grand atrium, visitors can take in the 40-, 45-, and 50-foot tetrahedra accompanied by immersive soundscapes of celebrations and ceremonies, all set against views of the Front Range. Overhead, a suspended glider captures the moment of an aerobatic loop.
At the conclusion of the experience, visitors exit through a 3,000-square-foot gift shop and team store.

Class Crests
Media, VisualThis is one of the interactive media pieces installed in the visitor center. It features a collection of all USAFA class crests from 1959 to the present day. Each crest highlights elements such as Polaris, the American flag, the eagle, Cadet Chapel, class year, and the class motto. Visitors can scroll through the collection, select individual crests, and explore each class in more detail.
I was responsible for the visual design and crest production for this interactive. Because many of the historical crests were only available as low-quality or poorly constructed vector files, I redrew and refined the entire collection to create clean, consistent artwork. I then prepared the final crest files for 3D production and installation.
